MACCosmetics.com news

MAC Pro 15 Eye Shadow Palette $12.00 USD

Eye Shadow Refill $11.00 (vs. eyeshadow pot $14.50)

Pro Colour Blush Palette $12.00

Blush Refill pan $15.00 (vs. blush pot $18.00)

I'm going lay down the math to show savings for you in a bit, but using palettes rather than pots is a really good idea because it will save you soo much space! Especially if you have a lot of makeup and need to carry it around in a train case. You can also save a lot of time and hassle, say you have 30 eyeshadows and you're looking for one specific color; would you prefer look through 30 different pots or just open two palettes?

I totally understand that it's a matter of preference. For example, I do NOT like the idea of having my blushes in a palette... only my shadows. It's the crazy in me =]

Now! Fifteen eyeshadow pots would cost you $217..

To fill one 15 shadow palette you would purchase a palette ($12) and fifteen pan refills ($165) for a total of $177 spent. That's a $40 savings!

Keep in mind if you depot your shadows you should take advantage of the Back to MAC program and claim your free lipstick(s)!

Inexpensive E.L.F Brush Belt

Hey guys!
I've wanted a MAC brush belt for a really long time but it's quite the splurge.. I won't be buying it until after I get a pro card.
But I wanted to share this find for you loves who would like to have a brush belt but don't want to spend too much:

As some of you may know, E.L.F. Cosmetics (eyeslipsface.com) has launched a new 'Studio' line.. the packaging is all black and looks a lot sleeker, (I already have my eye on some of the brushes).. this brush belt is one of the products from the line and it is only $15 !!

Here's the site's description:

" The e.l.f. Makeup Artist Brush Belt is made of an easy to clean faux leather material. The belt has an array of interior nylon pockets varying in size to accommodate all brush sizes. The center pockets are also designed to hold mascara, eye pencils, lip glosses or any other slender makeup product. An adjustable strap allows for the belt to be comfortably worn around the waist or over the shoulder. To protect brushes after use, fold the belt in half and close with the attached strap.
*brushes not included

Dimensions:
Unfolded : L x W = 10” x 15.5”
Fold : L x W x H= 10” x 7.25” x 1” "

Neutrogena Wave

Wave Hello to the Neutrogena Wave power cleanser =]

This little guy is amazing! When I first bought the Wave I didn't expect much, just a cleanser that would remove dirt, oil and makeup.. like my other cleansers.. but I was officially wowed after just one use!

It leaves your face sooo smooth and definitely softer!

According to Neutrogena:

The wave's gentle vibrations help soften pores, so the foam (cleanser) can do 10x deeper to remove more dirt, oil and makeup than traditional cleansing.

Softly textured pads sweep away layers of dead skin cells- leaving 100% of girls with softer, smoother-looking skin after the first use.

The wave is gentle enough to be used daily; and when you do, your skin will start to produce less oil so that clean feeling will last even longer.

-----------------------------------

This may just be the answer for girls with oily skin.
Because I have dry skin I only use the wave about once or twice a week on average, but removing dead skin cells to reveal fresh, radiant skin and having a product that will clean deep down into pores is important for all skin types!

Her and her hubby have had four baby showers already!! Jayden is obviously verry loved!! <33

Me (ughh it was a loong day! lol), Isaura and Celeste. =]

Getting this cake done just right was so stressful! lol The first place I went to gave me a cake so hideous that I ended up going somewhere else to fix it... but it came out cute! =]
